Brehon Ward at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital has received a donation of garden furniture from B&Q thanks to Jean Rolls who visits the ward every week with Tilly her Bichon Frise.
Ward Manager Ellen Waring said:
We are very grateful for the kind donation of garden furniture to Brehon Ward that will allow both patients and families to sit outside in the sunshine, enjoying quality time together. The initial request was made by WAG volunteer Jean Rolls, who recognised the need, and kindly approached B&Q herself. B&Q generously donated a table, chairs, bench and parasol, which will be used and enjoyed by patients and their families during the coming summer months.
