We are so proud of Poppet and Ashley for being presented with this award by Specsavers‘ Dame Mary Perkins at the Pride of Guernsey Awards Ceremony. The pair visit Brock Ward every week and were nominated by Ward Sister, Moira Norman, who said
The time this chap takes with his little dog, and the pleasure he brings our patients who sometimes are so sick or even just lonely because they have been in hospital, is incredible.
This award is a terrific endorsement for the work that WAG does in wards at the hospital and other establishments – our thanks to all the members of the public who voted for Poppet and Ashley.
